Uplifting Futures: Teknotropheo Missions Empowers Mangyan Youth

Teknotropheo Missions highlights the academic achievements of Mangyan children, demonstrating that “even tribal kids can achieve high honor in their studies.”

Joshea or “Iya” has maintained honor student status from Kindergarten through her recent completion of Grade 4. Iya, who lives at the mission center due to the distance from her home, recently received awards and medals. Her adoptive mother expressed profound gratitude for Teknotropheo Missions’ support, offering harvested crops and her husband’s labor in return, and entrusting Iya’s care to the mission. The organization emphasizes that their efforts for these children are an act of service to Jesus and requests prayers for Iya’s adjustment and continued provision for their mission.

Teknotropheo also successfully conducted a four-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) for Mangyan children from May 26-29, 2025, at the Sambahang Kristiyano Ebanghelika sa Nangka-Magnot community church. The VBS, themed “Journey: Discovering God’s Miracles along the Way” saw 75 children attend on the first day, with 64 ultimately completing the program. The mission expressed gratitude for God’s provision of materials, food, and favorable weather, specifically noting an answered prayer for clear skies on the graduation day despite earlier heavy rain. The success of the VBS was attributed to the dedication of numerous volunteers, including teachers, assistant teachers, kitchen staff, and support personnel, who guided the children in their faith journey.

Igniting Passion: New Teachers Ready to Transform Lives Through BLESS

Four inspiring individuals, Jennelyn Dagalea, Ronalyn Agullo, Unice Alcanar, and Mary Ann Mesa underwent an intensive three-day training in Pampanga from April 22-24, 2025, to become “Master Reading Instructors” for the Vision Himpossible (VHM) BLESS program.

This comprehensive training not only honed their skills in phonetic sounding, storytelling, and proper writing, but also deepened their commitment to children and their faith.

Stories of transformation emerged, with Jennelyn, a stay-at-home mom, gaining newfound confidence, and Mary Ann feeling inspired and passionate about her purpose in teaching. Notably, Ronalyn and Jennelyn, both VHM BLESS parents, were so moved by the program’s impact on their own children that they felt called to become teachers themselves.

With powerful messages from Pastor Hooge on purpose, and from Kuya Leo on the vital role of parents and teachers, coupled with the unwavering dedication of BLESS Philippines Administrators Franz and Adelyn Garcia, these new teachers are now equipped and eager to touch the lives of countless more families through the VHM BLESS program, bringing literacy and hope to their communities.

Faith, Education, and New Beginnings: BLESS PAOMBONG Program Welcomes New Students

The VHM BLESS program is a free reading and writing pre-school which gives children a strong educational start.  Every lesson includes godly values such as generosity, thoughtfulness, and respect for parents.

The latest batch of the VHM BLESS program saw 13 children successfully pass the Reading Readiness Test (RRT), with two students demonstrating their determination by passing on a retake. They were officially welcomed into the literacy program on May 30, 2025.

Pastor Larry conducts “Family Talk” with the parents weekly.  He emphasized that faith in the Lord is the antidote to weakness and the answer to life’s unexpected challenges. Drawing inspiration from Ephesians 4:22 and Romans 12:2, everyone was reminded to shed their old selves and embrace the new life that Jesus freely gives us through faith in His sacrifice and resurrection.

A Journey of Faith and Triumph: Wilson’s Story

In 2021, Vision Himpossible Ministries (VHM) and its generous donors provided a crucial artificial leg for 9-year-old Wilson Ruiz, who was battling a rare form of cancer.

Despite facing a second amputation, Wilson and his family persevered with unwavering faith, as Wilson consistently declared, “God is my healer, Mama.” After nearly three years of treatment in various hospitals, Wilson was joyfully declared cancer-free in 2024.

Fast forward to April 2025, and Wilson not only graduated from Grade 10 but also received a Meritorious Award, a testament to his resilience. His mother, Gracechella, credits VHM Philippines for their profound impact on Wilson’s journey, expressing immense gratitude for their continuous love, support, and prayers. This remarkable story stands as a powerful testament to God’s glory and the incredible impact of collective compassion.

La Misión para Niños: Where It All Began

Founded in 1989, La Misión para Niños (a.k.a. The Mission at Carmen Serdan) in Baja, Mexico is a shelter for disabled orphans born with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities. Missionaries and volunteers led by Father Rivera provide love, care, education, and spiritual guidance to these orphans.

Tebow Cure Hospital: Life Changing Surgeries

Tebow Cure Hospital in Davao City, Philippines provides healing, hope, and spiritual guidance to disabled children who live in poverty and cannot afford medical care. After years of struggle and through life-changing reconstructive surgeries, many of these kids are now able to walk and play once again.
